The colour scheme was inspired by a visit to a tile shop, where the owners fell in love with a marble design. ‘The variation in each tile was beautiful, ranging through all shades of grey to beige and hints of pink that gave a rich warm hue. Weused the marble tones as a base,’ says the owner. ‘By using soft greys and natural elements of woodgrain and marble in the decor, it always feels warm and inviting in here.’ A heated towel rail in a chrome finish, adds extra warmth to the space, and makes a neat space to store towels.
Choose a deep-sea blue for the walls immediately behind the bath. Add novelty anchor towel holders to create a quirky home for striped towels. Combine maritime elements for a yacht-club-inspired look. Use smart stripes to add colour to the pale walls and team it with a co-ordinating rug for a cohesive and considered look.
We put together a list of modern bathrooms that provide a spa-like experience. These organic spaces, often minimalist in design, exude a relaxing and calming environment which rejuvenates the mind and body. Uses a neutral, natural stone from floor to ceiling to create an airy appeal.
